Khadija is currently a student at the University of Westminster, since 2012, studying Sociology and Criminology. Previous to this she attended Liverpool Community College, studying Humanities and Social Science. She has also worked in the retail, restaurant and beauty care industries.
Her work history includes being a Youth Arts Assistant at The Black-E for 2.5 years, from March 2010 to September 2012, assisting and organising playschemes involving dance, drama, and creative and cultural arts. She led workshops in crafts and painting with youngsters, assisted in the organising and supervising of trips to performances and events, and socialised with young people. She undertook research for projects (music and biographies) and, as part of Black History Month, created a 10 minute powerpoint presentation on the history of Black boxers in Britain for an audience of youngsters and their parents.
