Our current theme Over the Rainbow looks at making young people’s dreams come true through creative projects in song, dance and sport. It began with the Summer 2010 Holiday 5-week programme (July 27 – August 28) and continues in the Autumn on Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
Would you like to sing in Sefton Park, do ballroom dancing in the Cathedral, or take part in a boxing display in Bold Street? These are just some of the young people’s suggestions being explored. Or would you like to bounce on the new inflatable airbed, play snooker or table-tennis, watch movies, play on the wii console or get together with friends playing one of the Black-E’s special creative & co-operative games?
We are open daily for Autumn Half-term 11am - 2pm, Monday 25 - Friday 29 October and closed Saturday 30. The weekly programme re-starts Thursday 4 November.
Autumn half-term finishes with a Fancy Dress Halloween Party, 6-9pm on Friday 29 October, cost £3, for Spooky Ghost Stories, Ghost Trail, Party Food and Games.
For all these and to find out what else the Black-E has on offer call in or phone Maria Paul. Also check out the website pages (coming shortly) for young people’s weekly workshops.
For children of all ages however children under 5 should be supervised by parents.
