Chinese New Year 2017

Across the three days there will be light projection shows, an augmented reality trail, firecracker displays, dragon and unicorn parades and much more.

The main Chinese New Year celebrations take place on Sunday, January 29 and start at 11pm at Great George Square.

Chinese New Year 2017, The Year of the Rooster - begins on Saturday, January 28. Home to Europe's oldest Chinese community Liverpool's has expanded its celebrations to three days this year - from Friday, January 27 to Sunday, January 29. 


The Black-E Youth Circus will deliver performances in Great George Square, and in the Black-E. Workshops after each perfomance will be lead by Black-e staff.
