In 2016 Liverpool Samba School are celebrating 16 years together of playing 1000's of events in the UK, festivals in Europe and Carnival in Rio. 

Call in at their Monday workshops at the Black-e, join the band, the dance section, or a parading group, or just come along for the fun of it.

7.30 -8.30pm Samba dance classes with Simone 8.30 -10.30pm   Percussion classes. Instruments provided, you don't need to have played before. Age:- 15 years and over                       

 Samba-drummers-small-groupLiverpool Samba School produces, with Liverpool Carnival Company, the Annual Brazilian Carnival, bringing groups from all over the UK, Europe and Brazil in a glittering parade that drums and dances its way through the city centre.

Not into dressing up?  The School needs volunteers year-round for the Carnival, to make costumes and help with design and float construction and on the day always needs stewards and drivers.
