Crime writers Courttia Newl and, Pete Kalu and Karline Smith explore the work of this one time convict, best known for A Rage in Harlem, who became a towering figure of the American literary tradition

Celebrated poet Lemn Sissay tops the bill in this music and spoken word spectacular: Award winning performer, Tayo Aluko, poet and broadcaster, Salena Godden, Gil Scott-Heron protégé, Malik al Nasir. Special guest from The Bronx, Hip Hop violinist Shayshahn MacPherson. Followed by the Strictly Harlem After Party. Bring those dancing shoes for a Harlem Shuffle.After Party 9pm till Late!
